He is based in Thailand and works with the Earth Journalism Network, Internews and the Indochina Media Memorial Foundation. He is a former Knight International Press Fellow who has worked widely in Asia. Elizabeth Wald is a US-based photographer whose work on Afghanistan has appeared in National Geographic, Sierra and other magazines. She received the 2006 Rowell Award for her photography, and has conducted environmental photojournalism training in Kabul”—(page 57).
