Summary: “The Afghanistan National Health Accounts (NHA) study was undertaken to track the flow of funds in the health sector for 2014 and compare this round of findings with those of the NHA’s previous two rounds. NHA is an important tool for understanding the health financing of a country and provides a framework for measuring the total expenditure on health, including private households’ out-of-pocket (OOP) expenditures, government expenditure, and donors’ expenditures”—(page 1).
